16 And the word of Yahweh came[a] to me, saying,[b] 17 “Son of man,[c] the house of Israel, they were dwelling on their soil, and they defiled it with their way and with their deeds; like the uncleanness of menstruation was their way before me.[d] 18 And I poured out my rage on them for the blood that they poured on the land and for their idols with which they defiled it.
